Holden Grey Motor head bolts have been extinct for a long long time, most original bolts have seen their day especially when it comes to corrosion and stretching due to being over used, which can lead to premature failure.

Early Holdens head bolt kits are manufactured from 35CrMo steel, formulated primarily with chromium, molybdenum and manganese.

The chemical composition of 35CrMo in these head bolts offers a balance of strength, toughness and abrasion resistance. Makes them suitable for both stock and heavy-duty performance applications.
